Review: Simple Light Moisturiser

I have a review today of the Simple Kind To Skin Hydrating Light Moisturiser!
The pictures you will see are actually of my new bottle as my old bottle is a bit squished etc.
Firstly, I think the packaging is really nice. I love the fact that most, if not all Simple products come in a box. Perhaps it’s not best for the environment but I always reuse the boxes in my makeup draw to keep little bits and bobs in. I think boxes also make it feel a little higher end.
Also, I had to mention this lovely touch: the inside of the box looks great too!
More importantly, on to the product!
Simple Claims: Our Hydrating Light Moisturiser is a perfect blend of active ingredients and vitamin goodness to keep your skin hydrated and nourished all day long. Perfect for even sensitive skin.
I have been really enjoying using this product as I hate having greasy creams on my face and this is quite the opposite. It’s light, fresh and soaks in instantly. I use it day and night because I find with night creams they can make your face feel sticky even when you wake up the next day.
The last sentence of their description is also very important for me as I have mild keratosis pilaris on my cheeks (as I’ve mentioned before). It doesn’t flare up my skin in any way which is great and another bonus.
I can’t say whether it lasts up to 12 hours because I’m not sure how you would know. My skin is in a better condition now for using this product, however.
Another great thing is that is has no artificial colours or smells. As much as I love to smell lovely things I don’t enjoy rubbing them into my face! The cream itself is white and has a lovely light texture, when you rub it in your skin feels hydrated and soft. I only have to wait 2-3 minutes for it to soak in, which is great if you’re getting ready for school/work.
I usually brush my teeth whilst letting it soak in (tip of the day ;))
