Glossy Box | June

Woo Glossy Box!
This month's Glossy Box was the most exciting one yet for me! For a start I totally lost track of the days and wasn't expecting one to be on my doorstep when I got in, tired, from sixth form.

This month I received:
Glossy Box Serie Exclusiv Pro Beauty Brush
Yves Rocher France Mini Mascara ultra volume Sexy Pulp
BM Beauty Summer Warmth Bronzer
Clean Start By Dermalogica Day/Night 3 Step Kit
Vichy Dermablend Ultra Corrective Foundation Cream Stick
BM Beauty Summer Warmth Bronzer
My first ever Glossy Box featured the BM Beauty Mineral Eyeshadow and I loved it,  so when I saw another BM Beauty product I was instantly happy! I've been wearing this a lot since I got it so be expecting a review or it to feature in a monthly favourites post!
Yves Rocher Mini Mascara
The brush seems bigger than the "bottle"
So excited that they included another makeup product. I haven't tried this out much but I have high hopes!
Glossy Box Beauty Brush
I love the fact that Glossy Box are starting to include there own brand of things, last month it was the mirror and this month its a brush WHATS NEXT?

Clean Start Day/Night 3 Step Kit

Initially I was excited for this 3 products for 1! But because my skin is so bloody sensitive this kit unfortunately irritated my skin. It didn't sting or anything but my KP was a lot more red than usual after just 5 minutes or so. Hopefully my mum will be able to make use of this kit though as she has oily-combination skin.

Vichy Dermablend Ultra-Corrective Foundation
Last but defiantly not least is the Vichy Dermablend Foundation! I have been contemplating trying this brand. As you may know, because I go on about it in most posts, I have a very red complexion so could this foundation be my saviour? I am waiting for the right time to try it out, hopefully one day this week.

Sorry for this loooonggg post but I was so excited! If you got a Glossy Box this month, what did you get? Have you tried any of these products/brands? :)

Laine Blogger Award :))

I was recently nominated for the Laine Blogger Award by Molly from She Wore Fashion Out. She and her blog are both lovely and so thank you for nominating me Molly!

Rules...
-Tag the blogger who awarded you
-Award five more bloggers
-Answer a few questions

1. What is your current beauty obsession ?
Nude eye shadows! Yes this sounds boring as hell but I think it looks so simple and classy with winged eyeliner and false eyelashes.

2. What is the one beauty item you wished you owned ?
Part of me wants to say the Urban Decay Naked Pallette but I think I'm going to go for a primer. I'm not sure what primer though as I haven't done enough research, but I am currently wishing to dabble with primers!

3. What are you favourite types of posts to read and write?
I love to read all kinds of posts. My favourite I can think of off the top of my head are "life updates", hauls and reviews!

4. What inspired you to become a blogger ?
A blog called "Sprinkle Of Glitter". If you seriously haven't heard of Louise from Sprinkle of Glitter you have not lived omg.

5. What colour nail polish are you wearing right now ?
Nothing! I had work yesterday and I'm not allowed to wear nail varnish. I am planning on doing my nails tonight in Barry M Berry, however - because it's lush.

Five Blogs I Nominate...
The Beauty Fiend
Water Painted Dreams
Sugar Plump Beauty
Sculptured Mess
Under the Willow Trees

Hey, I thought I would do a quick post on Download Festival 2012. Be warned this post may be picture heavy, but we all love pictures right?
I went with my best friend ~click here for her beautiful blog~ for the Saturday of which Metallica headlined. Here is the full line up.

Lizzy and I, outside "the merch" stand.
Halestorm - I now have an infactuation with Lzzy Hale
Crowd shot
Trivium

Steel Panther

Tenacious D - the only picture where Jack isn't obstructed by the "inflatable genitalia"

Biffy Clyro

So yeah, those were just a few pictures of the day, it was really really awesome and I'd love to go back next year even though it will be in the middle of our A2 exams (booo).

Did you go to Download 2012? Do you like festivals?

Thanks for reading xx

Crazy Fan Girl Tshirts :)

Today Lizzy and I spent the day making these wonderful tshirts for Download (and also trolling on omgele but nevermind).

Hopefully going to take lots of photos etc and I probably will blog about it :)

What's in my (Download) Festival Bag?

Okay I thought I would do this post in blog form rather than in video form as I have been neglecting my blog the past few weeks.

This is basically what I will be taking to Download Festival tomorrow. I am only going for one day, so don't see this as a guide if you're going to a festival for the whole weekend or something. This is also drawn from past experiences and what I feel I need, so do not take it literally.

Bag
Okay so the first thing is a bag. I would advise
1. something that has zips - you don't want to get pick pocketed or for your valuables to fall out
2. something that goes over your shoulder, is fairly big but lies flat - you don't want to be messing around with a handbag and there's nothing worse than getting stood behind or next to someone with a huge rucksack.
3. something that is fairly water resistant - I took a fabric/sports bag to Leeds Festival last year and everything was wet through.

Here is my bag, I bought it from Peacocks for £15, I don't particularly like it, but it looks sturdy and has zips.

Waterproof
Another thing that I will be taking is a waterproof. Again, last year at Leeds Festival it rained, constantly. I got through two hoodies and a water resistant coat. I was cold and wet all day. I can't express how important a waterproof is. Another thing that helps is those plastic "ponchos" they look simple but do keep you dry!

I bought my coat from Millits for £20 and you can pick up ponchos from most festivals.

Hoodie
Obviously hand-in-hand with a waterproof goes a hoodie or warm jacket of some sort.
I bought this one from Primark (mens section) for £12.

Hand Sanitiser
Hand sanitiser! Seriously, the toilets at these places are appalling so sanitiser is the best way. I also bought some hand wipes. The hand wipes were around £1 from Superdrug and the Soap and Glory Hand Sanitiser is £2.50 from Boots.

Water!
Water.Bottled water is always important because you will get thirsty and festivals are always expensive. Even though if you get near to the front at most festivals/gigs they do give you glasses of water but I wouldn't trust it, so always bring your own.

Food
Again bring food. A packed lunch or something, especially if you're just going for the day. Obviously if you're going for longer bring food that's going to last! Food is very very expensive at festivals and sometimes a bit dodgy!

Other extra things you might not need:
"First Aid" kit
This is my "first aid" kit. Plasters in case of blisters. Travel sick tablets because I get travel sick but obviously if you don't get travel sick you don't need these. Paracetamol is self-explanatory.

Disposable Blanket!
Bin liner! This sounds so silly but if it's muddy and you want to sit down you just take your bin liner out and sit on it! You wont get your bottom muddy then and you can throw it away afterwards (which isn't good for the environment).

Camera
I always take a camera. However I always get paranoid about it being stolen/broken/lost.

Bobbles
Bobbles. If it gets warm, because it will if you're in a crowd, you may need a bobble to tie your hair up. Also if your hair gets wet and goes frizzy you may want to tie it up!

Makeup
Makeup etc. I will be taking minimal makeup, probably a lipstick and my foundation but seriously no one is bothered at these things when a good band is playing.

-----------
I could add more here but I don't feel that experienced enough to be telling you what's what. Obviously money helps, but just be careful that you don't lose it! I hope this helped somewhat, it helped me in packing my bag! If I've forgotten anything, please comment below, before tomorrow!
