Illamasqua Sale

At the beginning of the week I treated myself to 2 items in the Illamasqua sale a blusher and a pure pigment - and then I found out that today was the last day of the sale + a further 10% when using the code SALE10, so having no self control I got myself some more bits before the other stuff had even arrived.

PURE PIGMANT IN FURORE - £7.50 was £16.50
PURE PIGMANT IN ORE - £7.50 was £16.50
BLUSHER IN LOVER - £7.50 was £18.00
NAIL VARNISH IN FAITHFUL - £5.00 was £14.50
NAIL VARNISH IN VICE - £5.00 was  £14.50

I don't think I did too bad as I made a £47.50 saving!

MAC Lipstick in Sunny Seoul

Sunny Seoul is one of MAC's Creamsheen lipsticks, which is a first for me, and I guess its quite a girly pink without it being too in your face. It's staying power is generally okay, it isn't as good as the matt ones I own from MAC, however it is definitely more hydrating and feels a lot more comfortable to wear. It's also very versatile, wearable in the day and pretty at night.

I'm definitely pleased with Sunny Seoul and I think it will be great in Spring and Summer too.

Back to School Inspiration: Tartan

As many people went back to school and work this week (I have another week off woo), I thought I'd procrastinate my revision by putting together a few outfits featuring a relatively new favourite of mine: tartan.

The red lipstick and the chunky necklace could be seen as a bit dressed up for a back to school blogpost however I think this outfit would look lovely and smart but still keep you cosey.

If you want an easy, more formal look, then this outfit is great. My old sixthform had a dress-code and this would have been a perfect outfit to wear.

This is more of a cheeky school girl look, I wouldn't advise you wear those tights to school!
